Delay premiered at the Peoria 48 Hour Film Festival in Peoria, IL in 2016. After a disgraced physicist creates a working time machine, he creates a dimensional rift which propels him into a separate timeline where he must compete with himself for existence. Written, developed and shot in the span of 2 days for the festival, our team was provided with only 3 preliminary pieces of story in place: The theme of getting older, a key for a prop, and a single line: “I didn’t expect that”. With this, we went into production, writing, building and editing our entry. Based on a screenplay for a feature length film, Delay was condensed from a 90 minute story into a 5 minute short film.
